Before real estate, my life was a treasure hunt—literally. I ran an eBay business, scouring thrift stores and estate sales for valuable finds. Every day felt like solving a puzzle, searching for hidden gems. It was fun, but it was also exhausting. The constant driving, the dusty storage units, and the relentless Florida heat made me realize I wanted something more. My wife was working from home, enjoying flexibility and freedom, and I found myself wondering:
Then, the heat made the decision for me. I had just moved to Florida, working out of a storage unit, and by noon, it was unbearable. Afternoons were spent fishing, trying to escape the heat, and searching for my next move. That’s when I stumbled into a YouTube rabbit hole—Pace Morby, Jamil Damji, and creative real estate. The idea of building something bigger than myself fascinated me. I had no experience in real estate, but I wasn’t afraid of learning. I joined SubTo filled with excitement and nerves. I had no idea what I was doing, and for the first six months, I made no money. But I did something just as important—I learned. I met people, asked questions, and started connecting the dots. My first breakthrough came when I introduced a buyer to a wholesaler and made my first $2,500. That was the moment I realized: If I just keep meeting people and helping them solve their problems, I can succeed.
But success didn’t happen overnight. At one point, I ran out of money and had to take a job as a maintenance worker, making $17 an hour just to get by. It was a tough pill to swallow, but I knew it was just a step along the way. That experience taught me an invaluable lesson—if I wanted to break out of survival mode, I needed to help more people at scale. That’s when I discovered GoHighLevel (GHL). <-This is an affiliate link to a 30 day free trial of GHL.
GHL changed everything. It helped me track conversations, build websites, and automate follow-ups, making it easier to connect with more people in meaningful ways. As others saw how it transformed my business, they wanted in, and teaching GHL naturally became part of what I do—helping people build stronger relationships and solve more problems. Through this journey, I’ve learned that nothing is perfect, and every step is just that—a step. It’s neither good nor bad—it just is. Equanimity is the name of the game.

Today, I’m still connecting buyers and wholesalers, but at my core, I coach people on how to have better conversations.
How to listen, ask better questions, and build deeper relationships. That’s what leads to more deals, more partnerships, and more opportunities. I also teach people how to use GHL to scale their efforts
without losing the human connection that makes business work. But my vision is bigger than just real estate. My goal is to create a life where I can spend more time hiking, biking, and being in nature —because that’s where I feel most at peace. At the same time, I’m working to provide housing for people in recovery, creating tangible change beyond just deals and numbers.
I don’t want to be remembered just for the deals I’ve done. I want to be remembered for the
conversations I’ve had
—for the times I helped someone see their own words in a new light, unlocking clarity and confidence in their journey. My goal is to build a portfolio of 10 houses while continuing my exploration of self and others in pursuit of peace and understanding. Because at the end of the day, I believe this: It doesn’t take time to make decisions. It takes information. My job is to help people find the right information so they can take their next step with confidence.
And if you’re reading this, wondering what your next step is—
let’s have a conversation.👇
I started by going down a YouTube rabbit hole, learning from Pace Morby and Jamil Damji. Eventually, I joined SubTo and spent months networking, asking questions, and learning everything I could. I didn’t make money for the first six months, but I stuck with it. My first deal came when I connected a buyer with a wholesaler and made $2,500. That’s when I realized that if I could keep meeting people and solving problems, I’d succeed.
Nothing is inherently good or bad—it’s all just steps along the way. I’ve learned that if I focus on solving problems and providing value, opportunities will always come. The key is persistence, equanimity, and staying committed to learning.

Because real estate is a people business. Deals don’t happen because of contracts; they happen because of trust. Whether I’m talking to a buyer, seller, or lender, I know that the ability to listen, ask the right questions, and truly understand their needs is what leads to success. I teach others how to do the same because stronger relationships mean more opportunities.
I want to build a portfolio of 10 houses and provide more housing for people in recovery. At the same time, I want to create a life where I can spend more time hiking, biking, and being in nature—because that’s where I feel most at peace.
It doesn’t take time to make decisions. It takes information. The key is having conversations, learning from others, and focusing on solving problems. I’ve seen too many people get stuck in analysis paralysis. The best thing you can do is take action, reflect, and adjust as you go.
